“If you’re looking for someone who is willing to treat you, it’s best to go to your local doctor,” he said.
Dr Khan said he had been looking for a doctor for a while.
“The thing is, most ophthalmiologists don’t see patients that way,” he explained.
“If you are looking for something that is different, you can look online and you can find somebody who can see your needs.”
Dr Khan also pointed out that you don’t need to travel to Houston to find a doctor.
“Most of them can be found in other cities in the United States,” he added.
“It’s not like you have to go all the way to California or Texas.”
In general, you should get a referral from your primary care doctor, Dr Khan said.
“You can usually get referrals from local primary care doctors.
If you don´t have primary care and you are in the emergency room, you might get a visit from an OB/GYN.”

You can search by region, by specialty, by geography, by age and by occupation.
Dr Khan advised that you should also check out other websites like the Ophthalmologists Directory to find your nearest ophthalmo-graphic.
There are also more than a hundred ophthalmedicare clinics and hospitals in Houston, according to the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
“You can always call to make an appointment,” Dr Khan explained.
